Technicians & Maintenance

In-house technicians who install your alarm and CCTV systems, service them on schedule, and answer the callout when something stops working — so the hardware stays as ready as the response behind it.

INSTALL · MAINTAIN · SUPPORT

A camera that drifts out of focus, a sensor that stops reporting, a fence energiser that quietly drops voltage — every one of them is a hole in your perimeter until someone notices and fixes it. Our technicians are our own staff, dispatched from the same operation that monitors your site, which means one accountable point of contact for the install, the service schedule and the late-night callout. No handing-off, no waiting on a third party.

What we do

Every job — whether a new install, a fault callout or a scheduled service — is handled by the same in-house team and logged against your site record.

Installation

New systems are designed against the site, not pulled off a shelf. A technician walks the property with you, marks coverage gaps and weak points, and then specifies hardware that matches the threat picture — not the price list. Installation is followed by commissioning and a handover walk-through, so the system goes live with you knowing what it does and how to use it.

  • On-site survey before specification
  • Wiring, mounting, commissioning in-house
  • Handover walk-through with the user

Repair & callouts

When something stops working, a technician is dispatched to diagnose the fault on site rather than guess at it remotely. Common breakdowns — failed sensors, dead batteries, damaged cabling, a camera knocked out of alignment — are repaired or swapped on the visit where parts allow. Callouts are logged through the control room, so the fix is tied to the same incident record as the rest of your site activity.

  • On-site fault diagnosis
  • Stocked vehicles for common parts
  • Logged through the control room

Routine maintenance

Equipment in the field degrades quietly — battery cells lose capacity, sensors drift, firmware falls behind. Scheduled service visits catch that before it becomes a 2 a.m. failure. Each visit checks power, signal, sensor calibration and footage quality, and applies any firmware or software updates the system has waiting. A short service report is filed against your site so you can see what was looked at and what was replaced.

  • Battery & power checks
  • Sensor calibration & camera alignment
  • Firmware & software updates

Take-over of existing systems

A system you already own — whoever fitted it — can be adopted onto our books and reconnected to our control room. We inspect what's there, replace what's failing, bring the configuration up to a standard our operators can work from, and from that point on the install is ours to maintain. No need to rip out hardware that's still doing its job.

  • Inspection of existing hardware
  • Reconnection to our control room
  • Adopted regardless of original installer

Systems we maintain

Our technicians work across all four hardware categories — each one connected back into the control room so a fault or trigger reaches an operator, not just a box on a wall.

Alarm systems

Intrusion alarms, panic systems and zone-based detection — installed, serviced and signalled through to our control room so a trigger reaches an operator, not just a siren on a wall.

CCTV

Cameras, NVRs, network configuration and remote viewing. From single entry points to multi-site networks, we install the hardware and keep it producing usable footage when you need to pull it.

Electric fences

Energisers, perimeter wires and zone monitoring. Routine fault-finding catches voltage drops and shorted lines before the fence stops being a fence.

Gate motors & access control

Sliding and swing-gate motors, access keypads, intercoms and reader systems — installed and serviced so the entry point you rely on every day keeps working under load.

An alarm only matters if it triggers.
A camera only helps if it sees.
Keeping every piece of it working is the job.

Technicians work out of our regional operation and cover the same footprint as the rest of our service — North West, Gauteng, Limpopo and Mpumalanga. Scheduled service visits run on a fixed calendar; fault callouts are dispatched from the control room, typically reaching site within a few hours of the call. Same staff, same vehicles, same record of your site.
